Kathleen Butler Miller


Kathleen Butler Miller, 84, of Clardy, Texas, passed away at her home on June 5, 2024, and was received into the arms of Jesus.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8th at the Pavilion of Antioch Cemetery in Biardstown with Rev. Brandon Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the pavilion from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Casket bearers will be Cole Miller, Shawn Gilliam, Jared Brown and Joaquin Zermeno.

Kathleen, the daughter of Leonard O. Butler and Ida Russie Adams Butler, was born on Oct. 5, 1939.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Sam, Jack, Harold, R.L., Melvin, and Ray Butler, her sisters, Maeola Cluck, Ruby Fay Simmons, Joyce Williams, and her twin sister, Ethleen Cross, her grandchildren, Justin and Colbie Miller, her in-laws, J. L. Miller, Sr. and Mamie McElyea Miller, and J. L. Miller, Jr., James Miller, and Irene South.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Miller, her sons, Craig Miller, Clay Miller, and Kyle Miller (Amy), her brother, Earl Dean Butler (Peggy), sisters-in-law, Liz Butler and Nancy Butler, a brother-in-law, Ronnie Cross, five grandchildren, Marah Brown (Jared), Shawn Gilliam, Johna Zermeno (Joaquin), Cole Miller, and Kylie Miller, eight great-grandchildren, Tatum & Macyn Brown, Brooklyn & Kodi Gilliam, Gabe & Ava Zermeno, Shawn Miller, and Bryar Miller along with many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Psalm 30:5 Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
