Bug Tussle Wind Ranch

The Bug Tussle Wind Ranch construction will start in 2024 and plans to be completed by 2026.

The project is planned to be about a $300 million investment with most of the project located in Lamar County and the rest in Fannin County as well as hundreds of construction jobs and millions in local spending and local school and county tax revenue.

The project will not use water, air, or chemical waste streams to generate electricity and will only use the wind. The turbines are made in the United States and are planned to be partially financed using federal infrastructure bill tax credits.

We don’t need this! I thought there was a movement to stop this thing? Anyone have a map or knowledge of where it will be?!!

Yes, we will stop this. There is a request for an injunction in the 336th District Court from a lawsuit against both Cielo and one of the local landowners that signed a lease-and the Fannin County Commissioner’s Court is considering a moratorium request from the group fighting this. Go to http://www.0windfarms.com and join the efforts to stop this foreign takeover of our power generation.
