Donald Trump Faces Sentencing on July 11, 2024

Donald Trump has become the first former American president to be convicted of felony crimes. A New York jury found him guilty of all 34 charges of allegedly paying a porn actor money to stay quiet about the two having sex. Trump has denied that a sexual encounter ever happened.

Trump stated in press releases after the trial, “This was a rigged, disgraceful trial,”  told reporters after leaving the courtroom. “The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people. They know what happened, and everyone knows what happened here.”

Judge Juan M. Merchan set sentencing for July 11.
