Gwendlin Kay Woods, 77, of Hopewell, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at her home.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15th at the Pavilion of Pyles Cemetery with Rev. Chris Kelley officiating. Rev. Wade White will provide music.
Mrs. Woods, the daughter of Bud Hillmon & Maggie Plemons Hillmon, was born Feb. 3, 1947, in San Antonio.
She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church in Powderly.
On June 2, 1961, she married Donald N. Woods, building 55 years of family and memories before his death on Nov. 5, 2016. A son, Kenneth Woods, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Don Woods, Rick Woods, and Tim Woods (Lisa), a daughter-in-law, Sandy Woods, grandchildren, Taylor Woods Ueckert (Travis) and Brandon Woods, and a great-granddaughter, Emily Ueckert along with a host of friends.
