Nelda Patricia Wood was born on June 28, 1948, to Nelda and Willie Wood. She married Jesse Ray Cochran on July 8th, 1978. They raised their family in Paris, Texas, building almost 46 years of memories together.  Patricia was a born-again Christian and faithfully served the Lord. She was a long-time member of the United Pentecostal Church of Paris.

Patricia worked for Reeps Furniture for 14 years and then began a career with Rogers Wade Cabinet Company as their office manager, working 25 years before retiring in 2009. Patricia was a dedicated worker. She had an amazing math aptitude and a mind for business.  Even though she was retired, she never stopped working. She constantly had some project going on. She was one of the smartest people that you would ever meet. There was not much that she could not do.

Patricia loved deer hunting and fishing. Camping was one of her favorite pastimes. She was known for bringing home the big buck and could outfish almost anyone! She was crazy about her grandchildren and would show pictures and tell anyone how proud she was of them.

Patricia is survived by her husband Jesse Cochran of Paris,  2 children Monica Rhodes Nation and husband Bill of Paris and Joe Cochran of Paris. She was “Dane” to grandchildren Savannah Rhodes Vinson and husband Brock of Lindale, Stephen Rhodes and wife Kallyn of Paris, Tressie Cochran of Paris and great-grandson Tripp Vinson of Lindale. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Linda Foreman and husband James of Powderly, and Nancy Sherwood and husband Mike of Sumner. She is survived by 3 sisters in law, Doris Kennedy, Caroline Hinton, Cathey and Robert Price. A host of nieces and nephews and a wealth of friends.
