John Adam Dunagan || Obituary
The life of John Adam Dunagan will be celebrated Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 3 pm at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
Adam was born on Aug. 4, 1981. He is survived by his parents Donna and John Dunagan, sister, Stephanie and Michael O’Neal, niece, Mackee O’Neal and nephew, Abel O’Neal, grandfather, Jerry Dennis, many aunts and uncles including a special uncle, Dan Dennis, numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jimmy & Becky Dunagan and Linda Dennis.
Adam attended North Lamar High School and graduated with his friends in the class of 2000. He loved North Lamar and was proud to be a Panther. The students and faculty always made him feel loved.
He was always ready to be part of the fun whatever holiday or celebration he attended. 4th of July with Pop and Nana at the Rotary fireworks was always the highlight of his summer. However, Halloween was his favorite.
He loved trick-or-treating as a child but found even greater joy passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters of Blossom who came to his home for Halloween.
A passion for Disney and wrestling made his life complete. If he wasn’t watching Disney it was time for wrestling.
The things I have told you about Adam may seem quite simple and they are. However, he experienced great joy in everyone. He taught our family and friends to laugh often and love big. May we all be as pure in heart and soul as this sweet child of God.
Casket bearers will be Brittney White, Jamie Sue Chapman, Kelly Freelen, Kenda Pickering, Kerri Posey, Kristy Blackshear, Marisa Glosson, Sheila Ensey, Tuttle Whitley, Mackee O’Neal, and Stephanie O’Neal.
