Benny Harold Waggoner || Obituary

Benny Harold Waggoner, 56, of Paris, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Medical City-Plano following a stroke while doing one of the things he dearly loved, fishing.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, May 6, 2024, at noon in the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

Benny was born February 5, 1968, in Paris, Texas to Harold Washington Waggoner and Patsy Ophelia Milam Waggoner. Benny married the love of his life, Lisa Allen Waggoner. Benny spent his working life as a commercial painter, many of those years for Simmons Painting. He also worked for Mark Boswell Construction. Benny enjoyed hunting and fishing, but above all he loved spending time with his grandkids.

Benny was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Anna Perry and Pattie Lester.

Benny is survived by his loving wife Lisa, and children, Joshua Ray Allen, Bradley Harold Waggoner, and Melissa Ann Waggoner. Grandchildren, Colin Gage Allen and Bradley Keaton Waggoner, sisters; Nancy Golightly, Donna Lester, and Stormie Waggoner, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Peek, Harold Gilbert, Chachi Waggoner, Luther Golightly, Josh Roberts, Little Mark Boswell, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Colin Allen, Bradley K. Waggoner, Jr., Bradley Waggoner.
