John Ross Addy || Obituary

John Ross Addy, 62, of Chicota, Texas went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 14, 2024.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Chicota Baptist Church with Rev. Rocky Burrow officiating.

John Ross Addy was born July 17, 1961, to parents John Seay and Wanda Kay Hood Addy in Dallas, Texas. John was an accomplished landscaper where customers became friends. John loved sharing his love for Jesus. He always had a smile for anyone he encountered. John enjoyed music and had a beautiful voice. John also enjoyed gardening and cooking for his family, making wahoo boards, and traveling. John loved decorating for the holidays.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sons; Aaron and Caleb, brothers; Wayne and Quentin.

He is survived by his loving and faithful wife Christie, children; Aubrey Addy McWilliams and her husband Chad, Kelley Addy Caruso and husband Louis, Kevin Addy. Grandchildren; Erin Addy, Connor McWilliams, Emma McWilliams, Hayden Caruso. Also, parents-in-law Allen and Betty Forrest and brothers and sisters in law; Neta Addy, Pam and Joey Baldwin, Sherry and Yancy Gatheright and David Forrest, and mother of his children, Susan Maynard Addy and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to thank Charolette Cunningham, Micah Cunningham, and Sandie Quisenberry for their compassion and love. Also, thanks to the Chicota VFD for their support during this time.
