Randy Paul Gunnels || Obituary

Randy Paul Gunnels, 68, of Paris, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at his home while surrounded by loved ones.

Services are not scheduled at this time. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

Randy, the son of Jesse Gunnels & Maudine Terry Gunnels, was born Dec. 16, 1955, in Athens, TX.

He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. Randy enjoyed working on tractors and lawnmowers. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. His mother instilled a love of music in him, and he played the guitar and piano. Randy was of the Pentecostal faith.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Stillwell Gunnels, four children, Phillip Johnston (Paula), Bradley Johnston, Nicole Patrick, and Dakota Patrick along with 10 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and his caregiver, Debbie Finley.
