Sharon A. Mills || Obituary
She was born March 24, 1946, in Waco, the daughter of Frank and Florence Keys. On June 25, 1965, she married Hardee R. Mills.
Surviving Sharon is her husband, Hardee R. Mills; son, Robert Mills; daughter, Kelli Mills Funk and son-in-law Rob of Tyler, TX; grandsons, Benjamin and Owen Funk; brother, Charley Keys and Kathy O’Neal of Reno, TX; nephew, Deryk Foreman and niece, Shannon Foreman Adams; stepmother, Bonnie Keys; and stepsister, Carla Fendley.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Gaby; sister, Sandra Foreman; brother-in-law, Randy Foreman; and grand-nephew Stoney Adams.
Sharon raised two children and helped raise both her grandsons, whom she doted on and adored. She worked at the Plano Env. Health Dept. where she later retired. After moving back to her hometown, she became very active at the College Church of Christ, the same church her daddy took her to when she was just a little girl. When Sharon wasn’t dedicating her time and energy to her beloved Toy Makers and the Red River Valley Volunteers, and she could be found playing Chickenfoot with all her many girlfriends. And of course, spending time with her family, who loved her beyond measure!
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13 at College Church of Christ. Family greeting starts at 10 a.m.
