Larry Gene Milam || Obituary

Larry Gene Milam was born in Deport on Feb. 27, 1954, to parents, Henry and Annie Milam and was one of eleven siblings. He attended Deport schools. He met his wife, Elaine on a blind date and they married on May 16, 1980. The couple were together for 41 years.

Larry was a farmer by trade but he loved to fish and hunt and grow a fine garden. He was an all-around countryman who never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; four brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffery Paxton and Eddie(Hoss) Bray; six grandchildren; one brother, Delbert Milam; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Deport on Thursday, March 28th from 1- 2 p.m. Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jimmy Lee officiating.  Larry will be laid to rest beside his wife, Elaine at Highland Cemetery.
