Virginia Kathryn Byrd || Obituary

Virginia Kathryn Byrd, 87, of Paris, passed away on March 14, 2024 at Brentwood Terrace. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Shady Grove Cemetery with Pastor Brad Miller officiating. The family will have a visitation on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 5 – 6 p.m. at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

She was born on June 29, 1936, in Choctaw County, OK a daughter of Burt and Nora Hiser Gage.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Lonnie Byrd, her daughter, Belinda Byrd Sangers,  2 grandchildren and 2 brothers, J.E. Gage and Jerry Gage.

She is survived by grandchildren, Bonnie Sanders Duncan and huband Jeff, Hank Sanders III and wife, Katrina and Lonnie Sanders and wife Jessica; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Gage and sisters, Mary Gage Dollins and husband, Gary, Charlotte Gage Hess and husband, Larry, Bertha Gage Hess and husband, Alton, Brenda Gage Elem and Patricia Gage Farris and husband, Dewayne.
