Devin Craig Lasenbby

Devin Craig Lasenbby, 29, passed away in his Anna home, on March 9, 2024.

Devin was born on July 6, 1994, to Yolanda and Lonnie Lasenbby in Paris where he grew up. Devin graduated from North Lamar ISD in 2012.

Devin strived to do his best always. He never doubted his ability to help others and his work reflected that. He worked as a sales consultant and always went above and beyond for his customers. He was well-known professionally, and he was proud of and shared every accomplishment.

He wasn’t just well-known professionally. Privately, Devin was a vibrant, humorous, and jubilant person, always bringing life to every person he met and every situation he entered. There was never a dull moment with him in the crowd, and he was always sure to become the center of it. He was thoughtful, caring, committed, and always accepting, and he could always lighten a situation. Devin was big on his family and he enjoyed spending time with us all. We as a family, always looked forward to his visits and adored his company.

Devin was preceded in death by his grandmother Linda Hindman Boehme, and cousins Cody Booker and Hunter Brasher. He is survived by his parents, Yolanda and Lonnie Lasenbby, his sister Jessica Pruiett and her husband David, his sister Alex McMikel and her husband Aaron, his brother Isaac Lasenbby,  his nieces and nephews, Brayden, Lily, Ember, and Aaric Pruiett, nieces Rory and Maven McMikel, Grandparents Tommy Crostley of Paris, Lonnie and Janet Lasenbby of Tolar, and Betsy and Jack Bryant of Paris, as well as numerous loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.

His life was full and his legacy will go on in every person that knew him because he was truly unforgettable. There is a quote by George R.R. Martin that really spoke to Devin and it describes him well. “Oftentimes a very small man can cast a very large shadow.” The shadow Devin cast on this world is immeasurable, not just for his family, but for so many people who came to know him. There will never be another man quite like Devin.  You are our mighty little man and you will be missed greatly. We love you, Devin.

Visitation is Saturday, March 16th at 1 p.m. at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home in Paris, TX. Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Colt Moore officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.
