Sammy C. Ervin || Obituary

Sammy C. Ervin, 74, of Paris passed away Monday, March 5, 2024, at Paris Regional Health. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024, under the open-air chapel at Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Holt pastor of Paris Church of God will officiate. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before service.

Sammy was born on June 21, 1949, in Paris a son of Charles Edward and Mildred Geneva Ervin. He attended the Paris Church of God and was a carpenter and musician.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Jeanna Ward Ervin, his parents, and sister, Patricia Ervin Rogers.

He is survived by children, Laney Ervin Horn, Tammy Ervin Buckle and husband, Jeff and Jerrod Bogert; grandchildren, Cheyenne North and Holly Horn; sister, Shirley Ervin Spencer and husband, Ray; brother, Larry Ervin and wife, Kathy; former wife, LaDonna and brother-in-law William Rogers.
