Wayne Alan Birch || Obituary

Wayne Alan Birch, 82, of Farmersville, formerly of Pattonville died peacefully on Feb. 5, 2024, at Medical City in McKinney.

Wayne was born on Jan. 31, 1942, in DeKalb, Illinois to Elliott O. Birch and Lydia Keller Birch.

Wayne worked with his father on the family farm for some years until moving his family to Texas where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sisters, Carolyn McQuillan of Clare, IL and Kathy (Pat) Prindiville of Caledonia, IL.  Five children: Joel (Lindsey) Birch of Pecos, TX, Angela (David) Wolf of Deport, TX, Tamara Birch of Paris, TX, Matthew (Misty) Birch of Paris, TX, Rachel (Kevin) Anderson of Blossom, TX, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Cremation is under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home in Paris. 

There will be no formal service at this time. Interment will be held at the family home place in Illinois at a later date.
