Nicky Glyn Pearce || Obituary

Nicky Glyn Pearce, 73, of Reno, TX. passed away on Feb. 5, 2024, at Paris Regional Healthcare after a courageous battle with cancer.  Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, under the open-air chapel at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Wade White officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service at Evergreen.

Nicky was born on March 6, 1950, in San Angelo the son of Glyn and Winnie Hicks Pearce.  He attended grade school at Crane Elementary School in Yuma, Arizona and graduated from Rains High School in Emory. He went to college at Henderson Jr. College in Tyler. He worked at numerous ranches alongside his father, Glyn Pearce. The last one being Bois D’arc Ranch in Fannin Co., Tx. He later owned and operated Pearce Welding in Reno.

Nicky was preceded in death by his father, Glyn Pearce and nephew, Lonny Glyn Parson.

Survivors include his mother, Winnie Pearce, his sister, Marie Garner and family, and his sister, LaTonne Parson and husband, Gary (Buster) Parson of Direct; nephew Joe Parson and wife, Holly of Direct.

The Pearce family would like to express appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Paris Cancer Center and Paris Regional Healthcare for the excellent care and to The Cowboy Church for their prayers.
