Kenneth Ray Wise || Obituary

Kenneth Ray Wise 82, of Paris, passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at his residence. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Wade White officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born on June 23, 1941, in Carthage, Missouri a son of Kenneth Earl and Violet Beth Foster Wise. He worked on oil rigs and was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Jewell Rose Wise whom he married on Jan. 30, 1966, in Carthage, Missouri. He was also preceded in death by 2 children, Kenneth Wise, Jr. and Sue Ainsworth.

Survivors include children, John Mason and wife, Kim, Carol McLeod and husband, Wayne, Daniel Wise and wife, Shiela, Chris Wise and wife, Daphne, Benjamin Wise and wife, Noel, Joseph Wise, Adam Wise and wife, Kelley, and James Wise and wife, Mandy; 32 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Wise and sisters, Olive Koczur and Mary Hanson.
