Kelli LaRue Ryans || Obituary

Kelli LaRue Ryans, 52 of Paris, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

Kelli was born in Lamar County on July 21, 1972, to James Martin LaRue and Betty Durham LaRue.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Kelli loved and collected hats.  She had more hats than one could imagine.  She loved all her animals and cared for them as if they were her children.  Kelli battled cancer for 25 years.  She suffered from the condition, MEN 1, which led to many health problems.  Through it all, Kelli fought and remained strong and courageous.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Dieterich and husband Russell; caregiver, Steve Green; step-brothers, Kurt Dieterich and Aaron Dieterich; aunt, Billie Durham Boaz; “aunt”, Carolyn Boaz Burleson; numerous cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Martin LaRue; grandparents, Richard Thomas Durham and Jesusita Diaz Durham, Milam V. LaRue and Lucille Martin LaRue; numerous aunts and uncles.
