Larry Steven (Steve) Roberts || Obituary

Larry Steven (Steve) Roberts, a resident of Roxton passed away on Dec. 20, 2023, at the age of 57. Born on July 9, 1966, in Paris to Larry Roberts and Minnie Treadway, he was a beloved father, son, and skilled self-employed handyman.

Steve, known for his dedication and craftsmanship, had a successful career as a roofer before establishing himself as a self-employed handyman. His hands were his tools, and he took pride in his work, leaving a lasting impact on the homes and lives he touched.

Steve is survived by his sons, Dillion Legates and his wife Stephanie Legates, and Preston Roberts. He is also remembered fondly by his aunt, Wanda Compton, aunt Pam Branum, aunt Linda Ingram, and his mother, Carolyn Roberts. Larry’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service to celebrate Larry’s life will be held at a later date. By his wishes, Larry will find his final resting place at Restland Cemetery in Roxton.
