Betty Ruth Sullivan || Obituary

Betty Ruth Sullivan, 88 formerly of Paris, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023.

Funeral services have been set for Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Norris officiating.  Interment will follow at Long Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Betty was born in Ford, Kansas on March 17, 1935, to Elton and Lucille Mosely Embry.  She married Robert Sullivan on Aug. 9, 1952, in Portalas, New Mexico.  She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Bobby Sullivan, Sherry Sullivan, Allen Sullivan and wife Linda; grandchildren, Allen Keith Sullivan, Kimberly Hutchison, Amber Goree, Jessie Sullivan, Heather Bennett, Renee Bennett, Stephanie Hicks, Leslie Massey; 1 great-grandson, Matthew; brother, Gary Embry; a special niece, Leresa Embry Bell,  She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Lucille Embry; husband, Robert Sullivan; daughter, Kim Sullivan; grandson, Caleb Hutchison; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
