Two individuals escaped from the Fannin County Jail Saturday night

Two inmates escaped custody on Nov. 25, 2023, from the Fannin County jail at the (South Annex) on County Road 4200 in Bonham. They were seen on video running to the southeast into the wooded area, wearing grey sweats. This was at approximately 9:15 p.m.
One is in custody for evading arrest with a motor vehicle and drug possession and a felon in possession of a firearm. And the other was in custody for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a child.
The escape is currently under investigation. The Fannin County Sheriff’s Office is asking that if you know where these individuals are or have seen them please call 903-583-2143 or 911. Do not approach. “We do not believe that they are armed at this time.”
