Chase was born on Dec. 11, 1967, in Orange County, California to Walter and Rita Collins. Chase lived in Wyoming until he was 7 and then moved to Seminole with his mom and Stepdad, Bobby Robinson. Chase graduated from Seminole High School in 1986 and enlisted in the United States Army. He went through basic training and was then stationed in Berlin, Germany. He stayed in Germany until the wall came down and then he was stationed in California until he was discharged and moved to Paris. Chase married his “Little Bride” Jenny Lee Roach on Nov. 17, 2001.
They moved to Deport in 2003. Chase fell in love with Deport and loved being part of a small town and the slower-paced life. Chase was very active in the Emmaus Community and Celebrate Recovery. He loved to hunt and would go and just spend days in the woods and come home talking about the good sleep he got and never shot his gun. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Deport. Chase fought a severe lung condition for 15 years, but he never let it slow him down. He never let it stop him from providing for his family very well and making sure they never wanted for anything. Chase suffered from severe PTSD and was in treatment for it since 2007. He was very vocal about veterans getting treatment and he fought every day to make his next day better than his last.
