Roger Dewayne Dunn || Obituary

Roger Dewayne Dunn, 75 of Brookston, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 27, 2023.

Funeral services have been set for Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Evers officiating.  Interment will follow at Georgia Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 – 7  p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born in Lamar County, Texas on July 11, 1948, to James Lee and Claudia Pike Dunn.  He worked as a truck driver.  Roger enjoyed spending time with his family enjoying the outdoors, camping and fishing. He enjoyed playing with and loving his little dog, Cricket.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Davis Dunn; son, Joe Dunn; sisters, Eva Magnuson and husband Sam; Barbara Moody; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Dunn; and brother, Jimmy Dunn.
