Patricia Gayle Shufeldt || Obituary

Patricia Gayle Shufeldt, 82, of Powderly, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at her home.

A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shufeldt, the daughter of William Cecil Harvell & Mary Elizabeth House Harvell, was born Dec. 12, 1940, on a corner in Winslow, AZ.

Patricia worked for a number of years at Pacific Bell Telephone Company in California. She then became a stay-at-home mom for 25 years. Later she began working at the Choctaw Casino in Grant, OK, where she worked for 15 years.

She was a sports enthusiast, enjoying every sport.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rudy Shufeldt, a sister, Mary Renfro, and a brother, Doug Harvell.

Survivors include two children, Rudy Shufeldt & wife Lisa and Leslie Templeton & husband Gary, three grandchildren, Courtney Vargas & husband Alex, Tricia Tharp & husband Michael, and Erick Shufeldt and four great-grandchildren, Kelsey Valdes, Solomon Valdes, Ruby Tharp, and Hunter Tharp along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 13770 Noel Rd., Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
