Matt Ebb Hale || Obituary

Matt Ebb Hale, age 99, joined his heavenly family on Oct. 15, 2023. Matt served in the United States Navy from 1943 through 1946. After serving his country he began his career in civil service as an ammunition officer/safety inspector out of Concord, CA and retired in 1974.

Matt is survived by his daughter, Olevia Vaughan and husband, Gary; Granddaughter, Starla Vaughan Ledbetter and great-granddaughter, Lauren Ledbetter and two sisters, Dortha Riddle, and Mary Jean Bunch and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Olevia Hale, Father, C.P. Hale and Mother, Jewel Hale; sisters, Virginia Jenkins, and Wanda De Wolf and brothers, Harry Hale, Robert Hale, Perry Hale and Bill Hale.

A special thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice, especially Jamie McNeeley. God sent us an angel. Thank you to Brentwood Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation, your care, guidance and support will always be held dear to our hearts!

Also, thank you to Dr. Mark Campbell and his wonderful Ladies, there are not enough words to express the thankfulness we have for you all. You are the absolute Best, we love you!

To our support family Ron and Trina Shirley, Susan Armstrong, Duke Spencer,  Joe and Pat McWilliams. We are eternally grateful for all the joy, smiles, and laughter you have given us through the years. God gave us a precious family to continue to love.
