Timothy Curtis (Tim) Floyd

Timothy Curtis (Tim) Floyd of Paris passed away on Sept. 13, 2023, at Paris Regional Health.

The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Paris, 3100 Clarksville St. Rev. Jimmy Lee will officiate.

Tim was born on May 4, 1959, in Ada, OK to Marion and Sue Floyd. He attended Mustang High School and Oklahoma State University. He met his wife, Rhonda Brooks, on a blind date with someone else while they were attending rival universities. They were married a year later on March 30, 1979, in Norman, OK.

Tim was a Regional Project Manager for Potters Industries, where he had been employed for over 25 years.

He loved God, his family (including their dog and cat), his friends, his job, and coworkers, and teasing his wife, daughters, and grandkids.

We are heartbroken that he is no longer with us but thankful he is breathing freely, moving without pain, worshiping Jesus in person, and catching up with his son, Ben.

Tim is survived by his wife, Rhonda; daughters Brooke (Frog) Jordan and husband Joshua of Paris and Anna (Snake) Floyd of Longview; granddaughters Olivia (Tadpole) Gunn, Bayleigh Jordan, and Brynne Jordan; grandson Braxton Jordan; sisters Cindy Dobbs and husband Jon and Susan Raulie and husband Steve.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Sue Floyd; brother Lynn Floyd; and his son Ben Floyd.

We would like to thank Paris Regional Medical Center for their excellent and compassionate care and our amazing friends for their support during this time.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association in lieu of flowers.
