Travis Joe Lamm || Obituary

Travis Joe Lamm, 77, passed away on Sept. 20, 2023, in Paris. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. Pallbearers will be Tim Shimpock, Carter Townes, Tripp Lamm, Tracey Lamm, Marc Puig and Chad Johnston.

Joe is survived by his wife, Peggy of Blossom. Joe and Peggy found love and joy each day they shared together. The beauty of love is that you can fall into it with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time. To quote Peggy, “ he was the best domino partner I could have asked for these last couple of years”.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Kelly Puig and husband Marc, of Corpus Christi, his son, Tracey Joe Lamm and wife Timberley of Detroit and their children, Tripp Lamm,  Carter Townes, Harley Townes and Tate Lamm.

He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict. Joe taught school for many years at Avery ISD before retiring. He was a proud husband, father and Papa Joe.

Even though taken from this world, his memories are left to treasure even still, and will always be present in our hearts.
