North Lamar HOSA partners with Carter Blood Care

North Lamar High School received a $ 1,500 Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year by hosting 3 blood drives and collecting 345 units last year. The Great Grants program rewards schools that support our community blood supply by hosting blood drives with Carter BloodCare and meeting their overall annual blood drive goals. The HOSA students at North Lamar High do an amazing job with their blood drives and had a lot of success and fun organizing and promoting the drive. Carter BloodCare appreciates North Lamar High School for its continuous support and dedication to saving lives.
There are 3 blood drive dates scheduled through the 2023-2024 school year. Anyone is welcome to come.
Dates are Nov. 14, 2023; Feb. 9, 2023; and May 10, 2023. All North Lamar scheduled blood drives will be held in the North Lamar High School B Gym from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
North Lamar is currently the 4A high school of the year in our area for blood donations. The HOSA sponsor is Kendra Waldroup.
