“Laverne” Willie Lee Chastain of Paris || Obituary

“Laverne” Willie Lee Chastain, 66, of Paris passed away Sept. 5, 2023, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.

Laverne was born on Oct. 17, 1956, in Midland to Fred Tyson Roberts and Georgia Lou Roberts. She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking, working in her yard and with her plants, junking, and she loved her grandchildren. She attended Delmar Schools and worked many years in home health.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Hodges, Monica Menchaca and husband Anthony, Samuel Hodges, and Jessica Crutchfield Friesen; grandchildren,Vaughan Keeton, Trista Allen, Korey Hodges & wife, Crystal, Gueran Crutchfield, Jesslee Friesen, and Rilan Jace Wunsch; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Hodges and Judah Hodges; siblings, Martha Gurley and husband Roger, Daniel Roberts, Trudy Kelley and husband Michael. Many nieces and nephews.
