Johnny Earl Butler Jr.

“Johnny B” as his many friends would call him, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at the age of 63.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, at Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery with Chaplin D.J. Harris officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

He was born May 15, 1960, in Dallas to Johnie Butler Sr. and Bertie Butler. He was very active in the karaoke scene and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be greatly missed by many.

He was preceded in death by both parents, grandparents, sister; Linda Butler, and brother Ricky Butler.

He is survived by son Johnny Butler III and wife Veronica, daughter Amy Butler, brother; Bobby Butler, sister Elizabeth Butler, sister Sandra Showalter and husband Charles and a sister-in-law Cindy Butler, wife of Ricky Butler, four grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew.
