Charles William Sugg of Paris || Obituary
Charles William Sugg, 84, of Paris, passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, at Paris Regional Health.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8th at Union Grove Cemetery in Reno with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating.
Charles, the son of Barney McCoy Sugg & Stella Lorene Phipps Sugg, was born Aug. 21, 1938, in Sylvan.
On June 28, 1958, he married Mary Helen Stell. His career with Coca-Cola spanned 21 years from 1968 – 1989. Charles started as a route manager becoming a sales manager and later plant manager. He later owned Charlie’s Golf Etc. and Charlie’s Tire Service.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and golf were his primary past times.
Survivors include three sons, Marty & wife Jill of Pattonville, Keith & wife Monika of Blossom, and Greg Sugg of Lufkin. One brother, Leon Sugg & wife Debbie of Norman, OK and one sister, Clara Payne of Oklahoma City, OK. Three granddaughters, Kayli, Amber, and Pamela. Four Grandsons, Danial, Christopher, Eric, and Austin. Three great-grandchildren, Colten, Ryder, and Brylie. One great-great-granddaughter, Kamdyn along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 58 years, Mary, and one son, Bradley. Brothers, Argel, Melvin, Buryl, Paul, Dewie, Ray, Calvin, David, and Gary Sugg, and one sister, Mary Williams.
