North Lamar HS hosts Panthers first event for Freshmen Orientation

North Lamar High School recently organized and successfully hosted “Panthers First,” an exciting orientation event aimed at helping incoming freshmen get acquainted with their teachers and explore the wide array of classes offered at the school. The event garnered overwhelming participation, with over 120 enthusiastic students attending.

Panthers First provided a warm and welcoming environment for the incoming freshmen, allowing them to meet their teachers, ask questions, and gain insights into the diverse educational opportunities available at North Lamar High School. The event played a pivotal role in easing the transition to high school for these young learners.

As part of the orientation, students were treated to a delicious pizza party, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community amongst the attendees. This social gathering not only nourished their minds but also served as a platform for making new friends and building lasting connections.

Principal Mark Keith and Assistant Principals, Chris Hudson and Patrick Fuller, along with the entire faculty and staff, expressed their gratitude to all the students who participated and made the event a resounding success.
