Edna Mae Jamar of Paris || Obituary

Edna Mae Jamar, 91, of Paris, passed away on July 31, 2023, at Paris Regional Health. Graveside services were conducted at 10 am. Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, in Evergreen Cemetery.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1931, in Cole, Arkansas, a daughter of Howard Taft and Lilie May Rose Alexander. Edna was retired from Uarco. On June 7, 1952, she married Robert William Jamar in Paris. He preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2014. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Joe Alexander and Carol Ray Alexander and their wives.

Edna is survived by many nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Phil Carter and close neighbors Glen and Pat Books and Jimmy and Betty Slayden and a host of friends.
