Stanley Jenkins Hodges of Paris || Obituary

Stanley Jenkins Hodges, 72, of Paris, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, at his home.

A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

Stanley, the son of Jesse Frederick Hodges and Mary Eunice Cunningham Hodges, was born on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, 1950, in Paris.

He attended Paris Schools. His career as a heavy equipment operator and transmission specialist spanned many years before his retirement.

Stanley loved playing guitar and being in the company of others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, J. C. Gonzalez, two brothers, Roy Hodges and Richard Hodges, and two sisters, Mary Beth Gilliam and Delores Black.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Hodges and Monica Menchaca & husband Anthony, three grandchildren, Korey Hodges & wife Crystal, Vaughan Keeton, and Trista Allen, two great grandchildren, Evelyn Eunice and Judah Cavan, siblings, Charles Hodges & wife Jimmye, Randy Hodges, Reggie Hodges, Johnny Hodges, Roland Hodges, Sue Perry & husband Michael, Cathy Hodges, Margaret Jane Williams & husband Richard, Debra Hodges & partner Jimmy Trevino, and Brenda White & husband Ray Jay, and numerous nieces & nephews along with a host of friends.
