Casi Burchinal of Lamar National Bank Tapped to Serve on Leadership Division Board

The Leadership Division of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) elected new board members during the 38th Annual Connecting Leaders Conference—the division’s flagship event—at the Margaritaville Lake Conroe in mid-June. Casi Burchinal, Vice President at Lamar National Bank in Paris, was elected Region 5 president, which includes 15-plus counties in East Texas.

Founded in 1985, the IBAT Leadership Division is dedicated to the development of tomorrow’s leaders in community banking. The 500-plus member group is divided into 13 regions, each of which hosts education and networking events for community bankers in the area throughout the year. Each region has its own president, who also serves as the region’s board member.

Burchinal has been with Lamar National for 8 years serving in many roles, including Loan Processor, Loan Officer, and Assistant Vice President before her current position as Vice President. A graduate of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking, she also serves as Vice President of the Financial Women in Texas Dallas Area Group.
