Michael Wayne Wesley || Obituary

Michael Wayne Wesley, 71, of Clarksville, formerly of Paris, passed away June 6, 2023, in a Clarksville Nursing Home.

He was January 30, 1952, in Talihina, OK the son of Joseph Z. and Pauline Paxton Wesley.  He graduated from Prairiland High School and worked at American Box Co. until it closed and was employed at Campbell Soup Co. for several years.

He enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Carl Wesley and 3 sisters, Phyllis Taylor, Bertha Rhame and Patricia Porter.

He is survived by a sister, Pamela Humphrey and husband, Buddy of Fulbright; brother Danny Billy and family; nieces, Melanie Nichols and Tyree Hearn, April Wesley and wife, Brenda,  Great niece, Bethanie Nichols and boyfriend, Anthony Thomas and Tyshiana Hearn; great-great niece, Madiana Thomas and brothers-in-law, Chester Taylor and Bobby Porter; sister-in-law, Stephanie Wesley; Host of cousins and friends.

He never met a stranger, always had a big smile and loved little kids.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Kelly Collins officiating.
