Jana Lynn Cochrell || Obituary

Jana Lynn Cochrell, 75, peacefully passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Texas Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford.

Jana was born July 27, 1947, to Billy and Eleanor Perkins in Paris. Jana’s mom Eleanor Perkins still resides in Paris and her father, Billy, who passed away several years ago.

Jana retired from Southwestern Bell and soon after was diagnosed with a rare disease that she and her loving husband battled together for nine years. Jana’s husband Harvey resides in their Bedford home with their beloved dog BJ. Jana was a sweet and loving wife, mom and nana.

She was blessed with four children. Joni Norton her daughter that resides in Bedford with her husband Don Norton, Kent Ellington her son that resides in Springtown with his wife Suzie Ellington, Chad Ellington who suddenly passed away on Jan. 18, 2023. Baby Thomas Ellington passed away a couple of months after birth due to complications in the hospital. Jana has two stepdaughters, Tracy Potts and her husband Joe Potts, and Chrissy Richardson and her husband Roy Richardson. She was also blessed with five grandchildren, Nicole Rogers and her husband Tre Rogers, Kendall Buchholtz and her husband Cody Buchholtz, and Lena Hayes and her husband Zach Hayes. Two step-grandchildren, Kristin Parisi and Jessica Marshall. She has 7 great-grandchildren, Nova and Q Rogers, Kase and Cyler Buchholtz, Riley Joe and Colton Hayes and Brooklyn Parisi. Jana was strong and a fighter. Jesus sent his angels to bring her home.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17^th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Blake officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
