Norma Jean Hudson of Paris || Obituary
Norma Jean Hudson, 97, of Paris, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Heritage House of Paris.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31st at Meadowbrook Gardens with Rev. Barry Loving officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 – 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hudson, the daughter of William “Bill” Lowry & Mary Dyer Lowry, was born Nov. 22, 1925, in Eddy, Texas.
She graduated from high school in Eddy and later moved to Paris where she worked with her father at B & B Cafe. She met Robert Lee “Pete” Hudson, and they were married on Nov. 2, 1946. In the late ’50s, she began her career at Westinghouse and remained there until retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pete, on Dec. 15, 1991, an infant son, Lawrence Hudson, one sister, Gernece Billingsley, and one brother, Winston Lowry.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Hudson & wife Nancy and Brad Hudson & wife Karen, grandchildren, Christopher Hudson & wife Dee, Joel Hudson & wife Jennifer, Brandon Hudson & Ashely, and Kami Miller, and great-grandchildren, Anthony Hudson, Danielle Hudson, Corbin Hudson, Owen Hudson, and Lane Miller along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
