Honey Grove ISD names teachers of the year

Kristen Mallicote was recently named Honey Grove Elementary Teacher of the Year and Paige Banker was named Honey Grove ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year.

Mallicote is from Windom but attended and graduated from Honey Grove High School. She received her degree in Education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. She teaches Pre-Kindergarten.

Banker is from Ivanhoe and graduated from Sherman High School. She received her degree from Texas A&M University Commerce. She is a High School Technology Teacher and Yearbook Sponsor.
