Bluegrass Music Festival moves to Paris from Canton in 2024 || Content sponsored by Paris Air Conditioning

A Lamar County Bluegrass Music Festival is coming to Paris in 2024. The festival was held in Canton in years passed. The festival is set for March 14 – 16, 2024 at the Love Civic Center.
Kevin and Ricky Rogers promoters of the festival made the following announcement, “We are excited to announce that we are moving the festival to Lamar County.” The Love Civic Center will be the place to host the best music festivals in the region.”
Kevin Rogers is no stranger to music festivals. Since 2010, KR Live Music has put various music events on throughout the Dallas, Fort Worth area. Starting in 2021, he decided to expand KR Promotions LLC and add his own branding to the music world. Partnering with Dad, Ricky Rogers, the duo has joined forces to bring live Bluegrass music to the Northeast Texas area.
Ricky Rogers is no stranger to Bluegrass music. He began hosting Bluegrass shows in 2000 in his hometown of San Angelo. In 2007, along with Nelson McGee, they started the Concho Valley Bluegrass Festival. They created the show with the proceeds benefiting the Concho Valley Home for Girls. This festival was renamed the Nelson McGee Memorial Bluegrass Festival after the passing of Mr. McGee. They continued to host the festival through 2019.
