Maria Ines Ramirez || Obituary

Maria Ines Ramirez, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born on January 20, 1953, in Aquismon, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the Daughter of Benjamin & Maria Castro. 

Maria was the oldest of 17 children, many of which she helped raise. Maria met her husband in 1969 and they had 4 children. They moved to Texas in 1985, where they continued to raise their family and were married for a total of 54 years. 

Maria loved God and was a member of her church Calvary United in Bonham. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and cooking for her friends and family.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Hilario, are daughter Bruna Moya and her husband Alfego Moya, daughter Placida Zamora and her husband Javier Zamora, son Ignacio Ramirez and his wife Sara Ramirez, son Rafael Ramirez, and her 8 grandchildren, Javier Zamora Jr, Rocio Zamora, Erick Zamora, Alejandro Moya, Josue Zamora, Victoria Moya, Raquel Moya and Elena Ramirez, and great-grandchild Adrian Vasquez, 13 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 1 p.m. Friday, May 5, at Iglesia Cristiana Nueva Vida, 1828 Bonham Street, Paris, TX  75460, with burial following in Tigertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 4, from 6 – 8 p.m.
