Grocery store chain target of called-in bomb threats according to Paris Police

On April 29, 2023, Paris Police Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Clarksville in regards to a bomb threat being called in on the business.

According to Captain Terry Bull, “The anonymous suspect had threatened to blow up the business if the management did not provide cash and or Cash Cards to them.”

The employees advised the other officers, “that other businesses in the same chain had received similar threats on the same day. Officers physically searched the address and found no explosive devices inside, said Bull.

The investigation will continue.
