Chisum Independent School District student, Jonathan Herron recently won a third-place ribbon/cash prize at the 30th annual Texarkana Regional Arts juried student show. This year the show received 970 submissions from k-12 art students in the four states area and only 158 pieces were accepted.
was recognized for winning a gold medal at the State VASE event this weekend. Adamaris was our only state VASE qualifier this year, and winning a medal at the state event is a tremendous honor. 1,000 artworks are awarded medals at the state event narrowed down from the 31,000+ entries each year.
