Shelia Gail Hicks of Lavon || Obituary

Shelia Gail Hicks, 64, of Lavon, passed away on April 22, 2023, in Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, in the Woodland Cemetery with Tom Oneal and Shirley Marr officiating.

Shelia was born on March 27, 1959, in Clarksville the daughter of Clarence Merritt and Polly Geraldine Lewis Graves. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and received an associate degree in nursing. Shelia was a Methodist and a member of Phi Beta Cappa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her spouse, David Allen Hicks whom she married on July 7, 2000, in San Antonio;  children, Robin Darden, Terra Darden, Allison Goreham and Kristopher Hicks; grandchildren, Cannon Burt, Hudson Burt, Arianna Munoz, Anthony De Leon, Priscilla Palomino, Hunter Goreham, Harper Goreham and Hollin Goreham; sister, Darla Myers and a brother, Tony Merritt Graves.
