Dickie Don Davis of Brookston went to Heaven on March 8, 2023.
He was born July 11, 1960, in Arlington to James A. Davis and Juanita Rhodes Davis. He graduated from Prairiland High School. He married Lesley Westbrooks on July 11, 1989, in Paris. He was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church in Paris and had served as a deacon and finance committee officer.
He is survived by his father, James A. (Sonny) Davis of Deport, his wife, Lesley Davis of Brookston, one brother, Jay Davis and wife Tina of McKinney, a nephew, Brandon Davis and wife Tanya of Dallas and their children, Ben and Olivia Davis.
Mr. Davis will lie in state at Fry Gibbs Funeral Home from Friday, March 10 to Sunday, March 12 for those wishing to pay their respects. A private burial will take place at Red Hill Cemetery. A memorial service is pending.
