GrantWorks, in partnership with the City of Paris, is conducting a survey to determine
eligibility in applying for state and federal grants to improve the lives of residents in the
community.

The information gathered in this survey will be part of future applications for grant opportunities for projects aimed at improving the city’s infrastructure.

The project the city is currently seeking funding for is a sewer project that will impact over 200 existing homes near the Justiss Elementary School located on 18th Street N.W.

The City of Paris needs accurate and up-to-date information about the income of families. “Your responses are crucial in determining eligibility for funding. We ask that you please complete the survey when the Surveyor visits your home. Without your cooperation, this effort cannot succeed,” said Robert G. Vine – Assistant City Manager.

All information gathered in this survey will be held strictly confidential.

A GrantWorks Surveyor will be in the areas surrounding the Justiss Elementary School knocking on doors beginning Tuesday, March 7, 2023, to gather important information. These surveyors will be carrying identification identifying them as GrantWorks representatives and will be carrying a letter from Mr. Vine detailing the purpose of the survey on behalf of the City of Paris.
