North Lamar competes in annual Arts Competition || Content sponsored by Quality Care ER

On Friday, Feb. 11, 2023, students in school districts from all around the area gathered to have their annual Visual Arts Scholastic Event Regional Competition at Chisum High School. Thirteen districts entered the competition with a total of 319 art pieces. North Lamar had 21 students enter the competition and brought 27 art pieces along with them.

Emma Adams, Katelynne Cassity, Lexie Clark, Katelyn Cochran, Stacie Coulter, Rylan Downs, Heather Garrett, Christian Giberson, Evie Greer, Melissa Hillsman. Jennifer Jackson, Matteo Lamonica, Phoebea Michael, Shelby Millsap, Ava Penn, Nevaeh Peralta, Davie Rater, Allyson Rogers, Deyla Smith, Victoria Smith and Ariah Still all showed up and showed out for the judges of this Regional Competition bringing their best work along with them. These students have been working hard to showcase their amazing talent and it paid o! Out of the 319 artworks, 18 medals were given to the students of North Lamar.

Two students, Melissa Hillsman and Evie Greer will be advancing to STATE with their artwork.
