Jesse Shawn Swindle, “Jay” || Obituary

Jesse Shawn Swindle, “Jay”, born Jan. 26, 1969, passed away on Jan. 29, 2023, at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene Texas.

A graveside service has been set for Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Colgrove officiating.  No formal visitation is set.

Jay was a native Parisian, He grew up in Pinhook, and graduated from North Lamar High School in 1987. Jay studied at PJC for a short time, then worked various jobs in construction throughout his years. He was well-loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, JU & Kathy Swindle, of Pinhook; sister and brother-in-law, Craig and Jennifer Durham; three nephews, Jesse, Daniel, and Sladen Durham, and their wives, Kellsey and Adrienne; one great nephew, Jesse Dean; and two great-nieces, Scottie and Davie.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
