Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade set for Saturday || Jan. 14, 2023
The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. parade will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023. The parade is to honor the life and legacy of the civil rights leader.
Participants will line up at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. drive and 20th St. N.E. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and will conclude at the old Razz building.
Jerkedain Brooks and Mylie Brown will offer speeches, there will be a praise dance by Adreiona Jenkins and KeShanti Burns with Brady Frazier singing.
Following the ceremonies, there will be a meal of pork chops, pancakes and chicken and waffles. The parade is open to the public.
