According to the National Weather Service, a front will bring thunderstorms to North Texas through early next week.
The worst of the storms is expected to hit the DFW area on Monday.
The National Weather Service stated on its website, “We don’t know how far west the severe threat will be or the extent of the severe threat yet. Just be aware that severe weather is possible Monday.”
The NWS defines severe weather as, “a thunderstorm that produces one-inch hail or larger in diameter and/or winds equal or exceed 50 miles an hour.”
The NWS warned that it could lead to some flooding and that rain is likely as the storm moves across the Metroplex.
